1971
The Beginning
The beginning of our story Where it all began. Yervant Meguerditchian entered the world of fine jewelry through the trade of natural diamonds, pearls, gold, and silver. What started as a fascination of precious materials soon evolved to him laying the foundation of a family legacy built to endure through generations.
1977
Second Generation Emerges
In 1977, his son Raffi Meguerditchian marked a defining milestone in his career with his first sale. Two 1-carat natural diamonds. That motivating moment deepened our family's roots in the fine jewelry industry and ultimately led to the opening of multiple jewelry stores.
2014
Third Generation Emerges
Raffi's son, Etien Meguerditchian, graduated as a GIA Gemologist in Bangkok. He returned to Beirut with a drive to expand the family business. He founded Meg Gems to supply natural diamonds and gemstones across Lebanon and international markets. Today, Meg Gems stands as the leading natural diamond and gemstone wholesaler in Lebanon.
